2011 DINNER BANQUET &

AWARDS CEREMONY COMES TO ATLANTA IN ITS 5TH YEAR!

The 2011 Hall of Heroes Banquet and Induction Ceremony was filled with tradition, celebration, and great fun.

Those honored and welcomed to the Hall of Heroes Class of 2011 included The Assassins #1 & #2 (Joe Hamilton and Tom Renesto), Ron Garvin, Sir Oliver Humperdink, Gordon Solie, Ray Stevens, Masked Superstar, and Ted Turner. These legends were honored for their lifetime accomplishments in professional wrestling at the fifth annual Hall of Heroes dinner banquet and awards ceremony held Friday night, August 5 during the annual NWA Wrestling Legends Fanfest in Atlanta, Georgia.

Joining us that evening to honor and induct the Class of 2011 were Nick Bockwinkle, Stan Hansen, Mick Karch, Mac McMurray, Dallas Page, Thunderbolt Patterson, Nick Patrick, and Roddy Piper.  The event was hosted by James J. Dillon.

 

Current members of the Hall of Heroes in attendance for the banquet included Ole Anderson (class of 2007), Ivan Koloff (class of 2008), Greg Valentine (class of 2010), and Mr. Wrestling II (John Walker, class of 2010).

 

The event was held at the Atlanta Airport Marriot Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia.
