CLOSED CIRCUIT LOCATIONS
On one of the "Starrcade Control
Centers" leading up to the event, host Tony Schiavone declares that
Starrcade 87 will be seen on over 100 closed circuit locations
around the country.
The event was originally scheduled to
be on PPV all over the country, but the WWF in a power play with the
cable companies insisted that the cable operators show their new
Survivor Series PPV exclusively or they would not be allowed to
carry Wrestlemania. All but a handful of cable operators dropped the
Crockett event.
