It is the opening shot of South's November 1988 televised match with Ric

"Before the Hornets,
the Panthers and Bobcats, there was wrestling. And before Interstate 485
and the New South, there was George South.
South has a gift. Since he lost six matches a
week and won one a month, it wasn't winning.
It was this; even when his opponent was the
400-pound Warlord, South charged at him as if he expected to win. Fans
who take their share of hits, but refuse to stay down, can relate."
