On Saturday, June 20, 2009, CWF Mid-Atlantic Wrestling in Burlington NC dedicated their new building, the Mid-Atlantic Sportatorium, to the memory of the late Johnny Weaver. Johnny's daughter Wendi was on hand, as well as Mid-Atlantic Wrestling alumni Don and Rocky Kernodle, Jimmy Valiant, Ric McCord, and Rich Landrum.
